Why people switch to Creditpal

A coach on your side, not a wall of card offers

The free score apps make money sending you to lenders. Creditpal does not. It explains your credit, simulates your choices, and gives you a plan, with no ads and no products to sell you.

Understand your score

01

Creditpal reads your profile and explains every factor in plain English, what is helping and what is hurting, so you finally know why your score is where it is.

your factors, explained

Simulate before you act

02

Run a what-if action and see the likely direction and rough size of the change, with the reasoning behind it. It is a directional estimate to guide you, never a promise.

likely +20 to +40 pts directional, with reasoning

A plan, not just a number

03

Instead of a lonely score, you get a prioritized, sequenced set of steps ordered by impact and effort, that you can track over time at your own pace.

step by step

On your side, no lender ads

04

Creditpal is a coach, not a lead-gen funnel. No affiliate card offers, no loans pushed on you, no ads dressed up as advice. Just honest explanation and a plan.

What it does

Understand your factors, simulate your choices, follow a plan

SIMULATE

Credit score simulator

Wondering what if you paid that card to 10 percent, let an old inquiry age off, or settled a collection? Creditpal simulates the likely direction and shows you the reasoning, so you can plan before you act.

EXPLAIN

Credit factor analysis

Your score is not a mystery. Creditpal reads your profile and breaks it into plain-English factors, payment history, utilization, credit age, mix, inquiries, and derogatory marks, and tells you which are helping and which are holding you back.

UTILIZATION

Credit utilization calculator

Most utilization calculators do one card. Lenders read your whole file. Enter every card above and this one gives you the per-card ratio, the overall ratio, and the dollar figure that gets you under 30 percent and under 10 percent.

PLAN

Credit improvement plan

A pile of credit tips is not a plan. Creditpal turns your profile into a prioritized, step-by-step plan, ordered by what could help most for the least effort, and tracks your progress as you go.

MONITOR

Credit monitoring

Most alerts just say something changed. Creditpal watches your profile read-only and, when a new account, a balance jump, or an inquiry shows up, tells you in plain English what it is and what it could mean.

LIMITS

Credit limit increase calculator

A credit limit increase is the one utilization lever that costs nothing. Enter a balance, a current limit and the limit you would ask for, and the calculator shows the ratio you would land on, the limit you would need to clear 30 percent outright, and the paydown the increase saves you.

Learn more
PAYOFF

Credit card payoff calculator

Enter a balance, an APR and the payment you can actually make. The calculator returns the months to clear, the total interest, and what the same balance would cost if you paid only the minimum. Add the credit limit and it also tells you the month your utilization drops under 30 percent, which is the part a credit file reacts to.

DTI

Debt to income ratio calculator

Enter your gross monthly income and your monthly debt payments. You get both ratios an underwriter calculates, a pass or fail against all five mainstream US loan programs, and the exact dollar amount of monthly payment standing between you and each limit.

How it works

Connect read-only, understand your factors, follow your plan

01

Connect, read-only

Link your credit profile read-only. We never move money, never open accounts, and never pull your credit toward a lender. We only read and explain.

02

Creditpal explains your factors

The AI reads payment history, utilization, credit age, mix, inquiries, and derogatory marks, and tells you in plain English what is helping and what is hurting.

03

Simulate and get your plan

Run what-if actions to see the likely direction of the change, then get a prioritized, step-by-step plan ordered by impact.

04

Follow it and track progress

Work the plan at your own pace and watch your progress over time. This is educational guidance only, never a promise of a specific score.

FAQ

The questions people ask first

It is read-only. We never move money, never open or close accounts, and never make changes on your behalf. Creditpal only reads your credit profile and explains it. You stay in control, and you can revoke access at any time.

No. Creditpal uses a soft view of your credit, which does not affect your score no matter how often you check. A hard inquiry, the kind a lender runs when you apply for credit, can lower your score slightly. Creditpal never does that.

No, and anyone who guarantees you an exact number is a red flag. Credit depends on your own situation and the bureaus. Creditpal gives educational guidance and directional estimates with the reasoning, so you understand the likely direction of a change, not a promise.

Never. Creditpal is not a lender and sells no financial products. There are no lender ads, no affiliate card offers, and no loans pushed on you. You get a plain-English explanation and a plan, and that is all.

No. We do not file disputes for you and we never promise to delete items from your report. For your rights, free credit reports, and disputes, we point you to the official sources: annualcreditreport.com and the CFPB at consumerfinance.gov.

Sites like Credit Karma show you a number next to a wall of card and loan offers, because their business is lender lead generation. Creditpal makes its money from your subscription, not from ads. We coach you and explain your factors, with no offers to sell.
