Sky Blue Credit Reviews: What Sky Blue Credit Repair Costs in 2026 and the Setup Fee It Does Not Charge
Sky Blue Credit runs three plans at $79, $99 and $119 a month, and unlike every other large firm in the category it publishes no setup fee and no first work fee. That absence is worth real money: the one-time fee is roughly a quarter of a four-month bill at Credit Saint and about thirty percent at The Credit Pros. What Sky Blue cannot do is remove anything from your report that is accurately reported, and that is the question worth settling before you pay anyone.

| Sky Blue Credit | Dispute service operating since 1989. Three plans covering three-bureau reports and scores, bureau disputes, one-on-one consultations and a score tracker, with creditor interventions and a credit builder tool from the middle tier and inquiry disputes, debt validation and cease and desist letters at the top | Basic $79, Full Service $99 or Premium $119 a month. No setup or first work fee published. Couples $119, $149 or $179 | People who want full service at the lowest entry price in the category, and couples working two files at once |
| Credit Saint | The other established full-service dispute firm, running three tiers of escalating dispute volume with a 90-day money-back guarantee | Credit Polish $79.99, Credit Remodel $109.99 or Clean Slate $139.99 a month, plus a $99 or $195 first work fee | People who want the most aggressive dispute volume and will pay the one-time fee for it |
| The Credit Pros | Full-service firm in West Palm Beach, Florida. Unlimited disputes with all three bureaus, creditor interventions and a credit building tradeline on higher tiers | Money Management $69, Prosperity $129 or Success Plus $149 a month, plus a first work fee of $119, $129 or $149 | People who want a case manager to call and a credit building tradeline bundled in |
| Credit Glory | Phone-first dispute service based in Henderson, Nevada. Signup runs through a consultation call rather than a checkout page | Not published. No price appears anywhere on its own site, so the figure only arrives on the call | People who want to talk to someone first and do not mind pricing being quoted verbally |
| Dovly AI | AI dispute automation with a genuinely free tier and no case manager. Files with TransUnion only, on both tiers | Free, or Premium $99.99 a year, which prints as about $8.33 a month | People whose errors sit on the TransUnion file |
| Filing it yourself | The identical Fair Credit Reporting Act dispute, sent straight to the bureau. Same 30-day investigation clock, same outcome | Free, plus postage | People with one or two clear errors and an evening to spare |
| Creditpal | AI credit coach. Reads your file read-only, explains which factors are holding the number down, simulates changes before you make them and sequences a plan. Files nothing | From $7 per month | People whose negative marks are accurate, where no dispute firm can help |
Sky Blue figures were read off the pricing grid on skybluecredit.com and its own FAQ page on 10 September 2026. Credit Saint and The Credit Pros figures come from their own pricing pages, and Credit Glory publishes no price at all. Credit repair pricing moves often, so check the vendor site before you pay. Creditpal is not affiliated with any company in this table and earns nothing if you choose one.
How much does Sky Blue Credit cost?
Sky Blue Credit costs $79, $99 or $119 a month depending on which of its three plans you take, and its own pricing grid lists no setup fee, no enrollment fee and no first work fee alongside any of them. Its FAQ describes the billing as a first payment six days after enrollment, with monthly recurring charges beginning a month after that.
That absence matters more than the monthly number, because credit repair is bought in rounds rather than months. A bureau has 30 days to investigate a dispute plus five to report the result, so a cycle runs 30 to 45 days and a full round of work is normally three to six months. Here is what each plan actually commits you to.
| Plan | Monthly | Setup fee | 4 months | 6 months | Dispute cycle |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Basic | $79 | None | $316 | $474 | 60 days |
| Full Service | $99 | None | $396 | $594 | 45 days |
| Premium | $119 | None | $476 | $714 | 45 days |
Set that beside the firms that do charge a one-time fee and the gap opens up. Credit Saint Credit Polish is $79.99 a month, within pennies of Sky Blue Basic, but the $99 first work fee makes four months $418.96 against $316. At Clean Slate the $195 fee pushes four months to $754.96. The Credit Pros Money Management plan looks cheapest of all at $69 a month until the $119 fee lands, at which point four months is $395 and the fee is 30 percent of the bill.
Our roundup of what credit repair companies charge across the category puts all of these side by side, and we broke down the fee question on its own in which credit repair companies charge nothing up front.
What is the difference between the three Sky Blue plans?
All three include the same foundation: three-bureau reports and scores, disputes filed with the credit bureaus, one-on-one consultations, a score tracker and 24/7 access to the client portal. What changes is pace and the extra letter types.
Basic at $79 runs a 60-day credit update cycle. Full Service at $99 shortens that to 45 days and adds creditor interventions, which are letters sent to the furnisher rather than the bureau, plus the credit builder tool. Premium at $119 keeps the 45-day cycle and adds four letter types on top: monthly inquiry disputes, debt validation letters, cease and desist letters and personal information correction letters.
The honest read is that the jump from Basic to Full Service buys you a third more dispute cycles in the same calendar time, which is the upgrade most likely to be worth $20. The jump to Premium is worth it only if you specifically need those letter types, which mostly means you are dealing with collection agencies rather than ordinary reporting errors. Sky Blue itself frames it as three tiers "designed to give you the right level of support based on your credit goals" rather than pushing everyone to the top.
Is Sky Blue Credit legit?
Yes. It has been operating since 1989, which makes it one of the oldest names still standing in a category that lost its two largest players in 2023, it publishes its prices openly on its own site rather than gating them behind a sales call, and it makes no promise about a specific score.
That last point is not a small thing. In August 2023 a federal court found that Lexington Law and CreditRepair.com, then the biggest firms in the industry, had broken the law by illegally charging upfront fees and running deceptive bait-and-switch advertising. The judgment was $2.7 billion and the business stopped operating. Our page on what happened to Lexington Law and who is left covers the fallout and who picked up the customers.
Sky Blue is also unusually direct about what it will not do. Its FAQ states plainly that while it examines every account for correctness of reporting, "our program does not provide a remedy for legitimate debt." A company telling you in its own help pages that it cannot fix real debt is a company worth taking at its word.
What does the Sky Blue 90-day guarantee actually cover?
It is a refund, and the wording is unusually clean. Sky Blue states that "Although we don't think you will want it, we will gladly provide a refund if you request it within 90 days of enrollment" and calls the guarantee "100% condition-free."
Condition-free is the part to notice, because guarantees in this category usually are not. The Credit Pros uses the same word for something quite different: if you are unsatisfied after 60 days it extends your service by the number of months you have paid for, at no charge. That is more service, not money back. Credit Saint publishes a 90-day money-back guarantee that is a genuine refund, so on this specific point Sky Blue and Credit Saint are matched and The Credit Pros is not.
Read together with the billing structure, the practical effect is that Sky Blue is the lowest-risk trial in the category. There is no fee to write off, the first charge lands six days in, there is no minimum membership duration, and you can request your money back for any reason inside three months. If you cancel, Sky Blue states there are "no more charges, no per diems, no surprises."
Is the Sky Blue couples discount worth it?
It is the cheapest per-person price in credit repair, and the eligibility is looser than most people assume. Couples pricing runs $119, $149 or $179 a month for the same three tiers, covering two people rather than one, which works out to $59.50, $74.50 or $89.50 each.
You do not have to be married. Sky Blue's FAQ says so directly: "You do not have to be married to get the discount. If you live together and pay together we invite you to sign up as a couple." Roommates and unmarried partners qualify on the same terms.
This matters most in one specific situation. If two people are going onto the same mortgage application, both files get pulled and the lender qualifies you on the middle of the three scores for the weaker borrower. Working one file while the other sits untouched is wasted effort. At $59.50 each on the Basic couples plan, two files for four months is $476 total, which is less than one person on Credit Saint Clean Slate for the same period. If a mortgage is the reason you are here, our page on the credit score you need to buy a house covers which score versions actually get pulled at closing.
What can Sky Blue actually remove from your credit report?
Only things that are wrong. The dividing line is accuracy, not severity, and no amount of money moves it. This is the single most important thing to settle before you pay Sky Blue or anyone else.
Genuinely disputable, and worth paying someone to chase if there are several: accounts that are not yours, duplicate collections, balances or credit limits reported incorrectly, a payment marked late that you actually made on time, accounts still showing open after you closed them, a bankruptcy or judgment that was never yours, and hard inquiries you never authorized. A wrong date of first delinquency is the most valuable error of all to correct, because it changes when the whole item ages off your report.
Not removable by Sky Blue or anyone else: an accurate late payment, an accurate collection, an accurate charge-off, an accurate bankruptcy, and legitimate inquiries from applications you really made. Those report for fixed periods, generally seven years and ten for a Chapter 7, and they fade in weight long before they disappear.
Pull all three reports free at annualcreditreport.com, the only federally authorized source, which has been free weekly on a permanent basis since 2023. Write down every negative item and mark it accurate or inaccurate. That list decides whether any credit repair firm is a good purchase for you, and it takes an evening. Our walkthrough of how to dispute credit report errors covers the filing itself, which is free and uses the identical process Sky Blue would.
When Sky Blue is the wrong purchase
If the negative marks on your report are accurate, this is the wrong product and no competitor is a better version of it. A firm charging $396 across four months to dispute items that are correctly reported is selling you letters that will come back verified. That is not a criticism of Sky Blue, which says as much in its own FAQ. It is the legal ceiling on the entire category.
The situation people underestimate is how common that is. Most damaged files are damaged by things that really happened: a stretch of late payments, a card that went to collections, a repossession during a bad year. In that case the number moves through utilization, payment history going forward, account age and credit mix, not through disputes. Those levers are slower, free to pull, and entirely under your control.
That is the gap Creditpal fills. It reads your connected file read-only, shows which factors are actually costing you points, lets you simulate a change before you make it, and sequences the order to do things in. It costs $7 a month, files nothing on your behalf, and makes no promise about a score. To see what the levers are worth on your own file, start with the credit score simulator, and fixing bad credit without a repair firm lays out the sequence.

Questions people ask before they buy
How much does Sky Blue Credit cost per month?
Sky Blue Credit costs $79 a month on Basic, $99 on Full Service and $119 on Premium, read off its own pricing grid in September 2026. There is no setup fee or first work fee published on any plan. Across a typical four-month round of disputes that is $316, $396 or $476. Couples pricing covers two people for $119, $149 or $179 a month.
Does Sky Blue Credit charge a setup fee?
No setup fee or first work fee appears anywhere on Sky Blue's own pricing grid or FAQ. Its FAQ describes billing as a first payment six days after enrollment with monthly charges starting a month later. Several third-party review sites still describe a $79 first work fee and a single $79 plan, neither of which matches the vendor's current site. Confirm at signup.
Is Sky Blue Credit legit?
Yes. Sky Blue has operated since 1989, publishes its prices openly instead of gating them behind a sales call, and makes no promise of a specific score. It also states in its own FAQ that its program does not provide a remedy for legitimate debt, which is an honest description of what credit repair can and cannot do.
What is the Sky Blue Credit 90-day guarantee?
It is a refund, and Sky Blue describes it as "100% condition-free": request it within 90 days of enrollment for any reason. That is a genuine money-back guarantee, matching Credit Saint. It is different from The Credit Pros, which uses the word guarantee for extending your service by the months you have paid rather than returning money.
How long does Sky Blue Credit take to work?
Plan on three to six months. Sky Blue runs a 45-day dispute cycle on Full Service and Premium and a 60-day cycle on Basic. The underlying clock is fixed by law: a bureau has 30 days to investigate plus five to report, and that is identical whether you pay a firm or file the dispute yourself. No service can shorten it.
Can I cancel Sky Blue Credit anytime?
Yes. There is no minimum membership duration, you can cancel through the message center in your account or by email or phone, and Sky Blue states that when you cancel there are "no more charges, no per diems, no surprises." You can also pause and resume, or move your next billing date. Separately, CROA gives you three business days to cancel any credit repair contract unconditionally.
Do you have to be married for the Sky Blue couples discount?
No. Sky Blue's FAQ states that you do not have to be married, and that if you live together and pay together you can sign up as a couple. Couples pricing is $119, $149 or $179 a month for two people, which works out to $59.50 to $89.50 each, the lowest per-person price in the category.
What is a cheaper alternative to Sky Blue Credit?
It depends on what is on your report. For genuine errors, Dovly AI has a free tier and a $99.99 a year Premium plan, though it files with TransUnion only. Filing disputes yourself is free and uses the identical 30-day process. If the negative marks are accurate, no dispute service helps at any price, and a coaching tool like Creditpal at $7 a month is the better spend.
